What is RHL's Minecraft Social Clubs?
RHL's Minecraft Social Clubs are small, supportive spaces where kids can connect, collaborate, and grow social skills in a structured, but flexible environment.
Our Focus
Clubs are more than gameplay. Together, participants will practice:
Structure & Safety
Scheduling Note
Because I currently work two part-time jobs in addition to running other classes and homeschooling three kids, there may occasionally be schedule adjustments or cancellations. If that happens, families will be notified as early as possible. My goal is consistency, transparency, and respect for your time.
Our Focus
Clubs are more than gameplay. Together, participants will practice:
- Collaborative decision-making
- Respectful communication
- Conflict resolution and repair
- Setting and honoring boundaries
- Flexible thinking when plans change
Structure & Safety
- Meetings will take place on Zoom and Minecraft Bedrock Edition
- Each group will include 8–9 children, plus the supervising adult facilitator (me).
- Camera checks will be required at the beginning of each session to ensure all participants who they are supposed to be, but then cameras may be turned off
- All gameplay occurs within the supervised club time
- Clear behavioral expectations will be outlined from the start.
- The children will decide together if this group will run on survival or creative, or alternate.
- Clubs operate as a pay-what-you-can space
- Minimum contribution of $15 per month
- If your family is able to contribute more, that support helps sustain the club and keep it accessible to others.
- If $15 is difficult, please reach out. Access and inclusion matter more than rigid pricing.
